ClipHunter watches Twitch chat for you and automatically clips the moments that pop off — so you never miss a highlight.

How it works

1. Add channels from the Trending list (or let Auto-mode pick them).
2. ClipHunter watches each channel's chat in real time.
3. When chat erupts, it captures a clip and ranks it by hype score.

Spike multiplier

How much busier than normal chat must get before ClipHunter takes a closer look. 3× means chat tripled its usual pace. Lower it to catch calmer moments — raise it for only the wildest.

Hype min

Of those busy moments, ClipHunter only clips the ones scoring at least this high on excitement — laughs, hype words, caps, emotes (0–100). Lower = more clips; higher = only the strongest.

Good to know

ClipHunter finds moments by how fast and how hyped chat gets — so it won't catch every viral moment, and a clip often lands on the punchline or the reaction. Treat each clip as a marker: when editing, watch a little before and after it to get the full context.

Start with the defaults. If it's too quiet, lower both — ClipHunter will nudge you if nothing's happening.
